Hello everyone! It's jamuary, but I've been juggling a few balls like getting a house ready for sale and wrapping production on this one game I've been helping out with. But Jamuary has to go on!

Unfortunately my MOTU interface is on the fritz, so I can't actually record anything through to my computer right now straight from the big ole mixer I got on craigslist. I've got to record down to tape and then record that off to a little tascam I've got. So far I've got some decent ideas, just gotta get my interface fixed up better and I'll re-record a lot of them with crystal clear audio.

I've got a big project that's been sidelined for a bit, and I've also got a full album ready to go. Was trying to make like a neat little album experience thing in unity but it was taking a bit too long, and with the other game I've been working on also being in unity, it's a little hard to want to do that twice as much lol.

Anyways, I've got some good house and dubby vibes going this jamuary, so if you're into Detroit old schoolish house and techno I've got some goodies this Jamuary hopefully. I've also been working on getting my tape delays up and running, so lots of good crunchy delays to be had.

Been a bit dead on here lately, keep forgetting to actually post some of the music I've been working on. Plus want to polish it that extra bit before putting up here, especially with most of it being live jams and the like.

But I've got quite a few interesting projects possibly coming up! I've got some lofi synthwave chill type stuff I've been working on, just waiting on some keyboard stands and a desktop rack so I can finish setting up the studio for the first time since the move. Then I can finish the synthwave idea I had!

Also I've got some weird kinda old-school techno I've been making with the BOSS DR-110 I nabbed, doing some simple sequencing with the accent trig out on that and it's been a real blast. Also got a Volca Modular and that thing can get reaaaaal weird.

So I guess, stay tuned! I should be back soon with more stuff, in the meantime enjoy a nice dumparino of music.

Anyways, we made very tasty brownies. Melted chocolate into the batter, used this non-dairy butter the wife made since she's lactose intolerant. Very very tasty, and super fudgy. An underdone brownie is the best brownie.

I've been procrastinating working on my NGADM track while I figure out what I actually wanted to do. I've been listening to a lot of Syro from aphex, so I'm thinking I might try doing my tried and true laid-back technoy type stuff again. I'm way too out of practice on synthwave to try doing another one of those tracks right now. I haven't even finished the mixes on the three latest ones I've done.

I'll go lug my desktop over into the studio so I can get REAPER talking with all the misfit toys in there. Maybe I can bash out a neat bass line or some chord progs. Get some drum lines laid out as well.

Or just take a look at the songs I've thrown up here, or over on soundcloud. I've got a lot of ambient works over on soundcloud that I just don't think fit as well here on newgrounds. Don't want to flood everywhere with weird 50 minute mixes of FM soundscapes.

But thank you so very much!!! I haven't even been on here for very long, but it's so nice that everyone on here is so welcoming and actual human beings. Can't stress that enough, only interaction I get on something like soundcloud is when 13 randomly named bots all send me variations on the same message. You guys are the bomb!

Had a bit of extra cash from selling off things I wasn't really using anymore so I got a few things!

Bought one of those new minilogue xd synths from korg, used of course. Can't be paying full price lol. Love this thing to death so far, it has an awesome sound to it. Can do just about everything I wanted it to, and I was looking to potentially replace my Poly61 with it since the old 61 is on the fritz again. Poor thing.

Then I got an old ARP Quartet, which is a string/brass/piano/organ combo synth. It just works, which is all I can really ask for something this old. This should replace the old rs101 I've got, since that thing literally sparks and pops if you move the release slider for the treble section. So far I've recorded a super cheesy early 80s instructional video sounding track which I'm super happy with. Gonna have to mess with this a lot more.

And then I just picked up some batteries for my old VHS camcorders, as well as this little EM field stereo microphone. So gonna have a lot of fun walking around with the VHS camera and just record face-melting soundscapes with the mic. So cool!

Anyways, I've been a bit lazy with music due to the heat and work getting hectic. I'm going to be finding this last ADAT lightpipe I'm missing all of a sudden so I can use the old 8-track recorder again. Really want to do some classic housey stuff straight to 1/2" tape. That'd be sick.

So, keep an ear peeled! I should also have some tracks polished enough to throw on here soon. Kinda treating this as an in-betweener for soundclown and bandcamp.
